UMoulay Idriss is open to foreigners for only a few decades. Perched on a hillside, it dominates the Volubilis valley and offers an impressive panorama of the city on the condition of ascending it! Indeed it is necessary to go up several hundred steps, from narrow streets in staircases, to reach the highest quarters of the medina. But what a reward when you get there!!

From Fez, Moulay Idriss is the first stage of the classic Fez/Volubilis/Meknes circuit.

Place of pilgrimage, the city imposes respect and in all seasons a correct dress is recommended.
